Offerings

The work may include contemplative practice, mindful self-reflection, embodied movement, dialogue and, where permitted, approaches informed by Traditional Chinese Medicine.

The work is adapted to each person’s constitution, condition, temperament, circumstances and needs. The aim is to support greater balance, presence, authenticity and trust in one’s own Heart-Mind.

Mindful Self-Reflection Mindful self-reflection is a way of looking honestly and carefully at one’s own experience. Through dialogue, contemplation and guided enquiry, one begins to notice the habits, stories, fears, desires and patterns of self-clinging that shape perception and behaviour. The aim is not self-criticism or analysis for its own sake, but clearer seeing, wiser response and greater freedom from attachment, aversion and unnecessary suffering.

Mindful Self-Focus Mindful Self-Focus is the practice of returning attention gently and honestly to immediate experience: body, breath, heart and mind. It helps us notice thoughts, reactions and emotional contraction without becoming carried away by them. With practice, this can support greater calm, clarity, groundedness and trust in one’s own Heart-Mind.

Nei Gong and Qi Gong Qi Gong and Nei Gong combine breath, posture, movement, stillness and awareness. Regular practice can develop softness, strength, balance, coordination and internal sensitivity, while helping to release unnecessary tension, regulate energy and bring body, breath and mind into greater harmony. Sessions may be offered privately or in small groups, according to individual needs and circumstances.

TaiJi Taiji is a martial art practised through slow, continuous movement to develop balance, rootedness and presence. Attention to posture, weight, alignment, breath and intention supports relaxation, steadiness and embodied awareness. Within Xin Yi Zhong Dao, Taiji is approached not for combat or display, but as a practice of harmony, attention and integration.

BuddhaDharma and Daoist Guidance Guidance is available for those wishing to explore Buddhist and Daoist approaches to self-cultivation, health and well-being. This may include meditation, contemplative reflection, ethical practice, breathwork, inner cultivation, and ways of bringing practice into daily life. The approach is practical and non-dogmatic, supporting greater honesty, clarity, kindness and harmony with life as it is.

Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine* Traditional Chinese Medicine understands health through the relationships among body, energy, organ systems, emotion, environment and the rhythms of life. Where legally permitted, support may include acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine consultation and related therapeutic methods. These form part of the broader contemplative approach, supporting balance, clarity and well-being. *Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine are not offered in the Canton of Ticino.

Group Practice and Sangha Group sessions may include Qi Gong, Nei Gong, meditation, discussion and contemplative study. Since 2018, the Heart Mind Rainbow Path Sangha has brought former patients and students together online for regular practice, reflection and discourse. These gatherings support shared practice, mutual encouragement and continued engagement with the Heart-Mind Middle Path.

Private Consultations Private consultations may include dialogue, mindful self-reflection, practice guidance, breath awareness, Qi Gong, Nei Gong, Taiji, or other appropriate support. The aim is to clarify what is needed, what may be disturbing balance, and which practices may be most helpful. Consultations may be offered in person or online, depending on location and availability.
